Job Description

Quantity Surveyor – Fife
Salary up to £58k + £6k car allowance

First Task Professional are delighted to be working with an award winning residential developer to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking site feasibility studies and appraisals
  • Select/agree subcontractor & materials supplier enquiry list.
  • Manage/monitor/report on all commercial aspects of projects.
  • Develop cost control documentation using information from final agreed contract sum.
  • Prepare cost report documentation (CVR) and maintain accurate projected cost to completion. Report to Directors at monthly meetings.
  • Procurement of subcontract works packages 
  • Produce monthly payments to subcontractors and labour only subcontractors
  • Agreement of Final Accounts.

This role will suit someone with experience of working with a residential developer or main contractor having exposure to design and build contracts. For more information, please contact John Gillen
